Surjit Bindrakhia Father’s name Sucha Singh and Mother’s name Gurcharan Kaur. He married to Preet Kamal. Father was a wrestler and famous in his village and father wanted that he will became a successful wrestler but Surjit always wants to be a Singer.
His singing career was started from college as he began singing boliyan for his college bhangra team. He was the only one at his time who can take continonous high voice note in singing. In 1995 his song “Dupatta Tera Sat Rang Da” was superhit. After this many remixes of 1990’s has came and became blockbuster. His song Dupatta Tera Sat Rang Da holds the record for being the number one Punjabi song on UK charts for weeks.
Some of his hits are “Tera Yaar Bolda”, “Sanu Tedi Tedi Takdi Tu”, “Toon Ne Boldee”, “Jatt di Pasand” many more.
Surjit Bindrakhia died because of Heart attack at his house.
